The 3-inch mid-fat tires and full carbon frame make it our most fun and capable hardtail mountain bike ever. It's built with an OCLV Mountain Carbon frame that's shockingly light for its oversized appearance, a premium RockShox Pike Select fork with an upgraded 130mm of travel, and performance parts like a SRAM Eagle drivetrain.

Stache 9.7 is Trek's lightest 29+ trail hardtail. More details about this awesome bike below - Thanks for your interest, please send any questions you have. Most used bikes require a couple hundred to make them feel new and fresh again, this one is all ready to ride! I will cover the LBS boxing, PAYPAL GOODS fee and buyer will pay the shipping fee. Rock Shox Pike fork works awesome, has had regular service, and was upgraded to newest air spring along with additional 10mm more travel to 130mm (still within frame specs from Trek). New grips, seat, as well as the drivetrain which has never been ridden- GX 170mm crank, GX chain, and NX cassette. Bunch of new parts to make for an easy buy and ride experience. For the life of the bike I rode upgraded Industry Nine BC450 wheels on it (which I am selling separately). Otherwise it is an absolutely beautiful bike and in excellent shape! This bike has super solid wheels with no dings on the rims and while they are not the rapid drive hubs they have very low miles on them. The frame has only two spots to mention, one being a small blemish on the non-drive dropout rub from a bike rack and the other on the underside of the drive side chain stay where when briefly running an 34t oval chainring the chain had etched a line in the paint when in easiest gear.

The bike has never been laid down on the trail, I have taken meticulous care of it and all notable upgrades/service work done professionally at my LBS. One of my absolute favorite bikes, super fun, fast and tons of grip with 29x3 tires the 2020 Trek Stache 9.7 in Large can be your new ride! This carbon frame bike is in amazing shape, ridden by a smooth 160lb rider with the vast majority of its days on mellow coastal North Carolina dirt.
